Recipe: Kloay Kaak 1. Dissolve contents of this packet with 6 tablespoons (70-80 ml) cold water. Mix thoroughly 2. Prepare 4 under-ripe bananas. Slice a banana into 4 pieces lengthwise 3. Heat ½ cup (120ml) of vegetable oil in a small skillet. Bring to medium heat (175C or 350F) 4. Coat sliced banana pieces in batter thoroughly. Place into hot oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides 5. Rest the fried banana on kitchen tissue to absorb excess oil. Serve while hot
Suggested use: Try pumpkin, sweet potato, plantains or taro instead of banana.
